Oh Anne, I've just caught up with B&B from yesterday and am so sad to read about the experience you are going through. I was reading up on ectopic pregnancies last cycle out of interest and it really frightened me to think that this could happen to any one of us. We spend so long planning and longing and building up our hopes and then when that BFP comes along, the excitement takes over but is always mixed with that underlying fear of 'what if's'.

When you think about the possibility of having to have undergone surgery, then it's possible to put the ordeal into perspective and be grateful for small mercies. I am really hurt for you that this little miracle wasn't meant to be but relieved at the same time that the situation is not as bad as it could have been.

Your are in my thoughts and prayers and I wish you a speedy recovery and the strength to move on quickly to a successful, happy, and healthy pregnancy.

Sending and your way.

You ladies really do know how to make someone feel better. It still hurts and it will for a while, but with the help of my great freinds on the B&B I will be ok. My family and friends have been great. Things happen for a reason and I know we will have a healthy pregnancy soon! Thank you again!

Not much of a consolation joanne, but at least you didnt have to put your body through surgery. You will hopefully have a full working ovary etc, whereas they could not have guaranteed this if the surgery had gone ahead. small silver lining in a very difficult situation. You are in my thoughts and I hope for the best for you. Candice xx
