Trying for a baby..


Ello im new on here.. I posted something last night but then something happend so ill post it again..
Well i came off the pill about 4 or 5months ago now.. Me and my fella have started to try for a baby 2 month ago.. I was just wondering if nyone could give me any adive or tips..
And is it true smoking stops you getting pregnant? I told my OH last night and we are both going to try give up smoking..
And how long did it take all you to get pregnant?

Smoking can be a factor in not falling pg but it wouldnt stop you completley.

30 months and still trying, not pg yet

I agree with AG, smoking can be a hindrance, but it wouldn't stop you completely from getting pregnant. My mom smoked since she was 19 and had 5 kids! Personally I don't smoke. It took us 3 months to get our BFP, but we were very lucky, not all women get theirs that quickly. Good luck!

I smoked right up until I got my BFP (although hubby quit when we started TTC) and it took us 5 months to fall pregnant. So I'd say whilst smoking doesn't help, it certainly doesn't hinder either.

Good luck TTC. Smoking wont prevent you from getting pregnant, but most would recommend to either quit or cut down on it. I am on month #5 with no luck so far, but who know, you could get lucky in the early months!

Hey, i smoked until the day i got my BFP (unfortunately re started when my son was 2 months old ) and i got pregnant the first month of trying! I was very lucky though.. currently TTC #2 and ive cut down smoking but not stopped totally, hoping im as lucky as i was first time round!
