Advice please?

I was on the pill for 8 years, and came off about 18months ago. My periods have since been irregular, however have started to become more frequent, with the last couple of months being on time (roughly).

I am now approx 3 or 4 days late. Feeling slightly nauseous from time to time, severe bloating and lower abdominal cramps, and tiredness i tested yesterday and got a BFN.
But could i have tested too early?

Last month i was sure i was pg but again got that BFN and AF came, but there is certainly no sign of it this month (last month i had darker discharge) but at present, clear as rain!

I dont wanna get my hopes up and think i could still be in with a chance of getting a BFP if i test again in a few days, coz i just cant bear to keep seeing that BFN.

Knowing my history of my periods, what do you all think?

If your periods are all over the place, you will have to play the dreaded waiting game!!! If you are 2 weeks late and still getting BFNs then go and see the Doc...(may give u a blood pg test)
I know this is useless advice but apart from obsessing over HPTs, there's nothing much u can do?????

Now this may seem like a stupid question, but how do you know?
I gave up on using the ovulation predictor kits as my periods were so irregular i never knew when to start or stop testing.

Well I only know coz I had O pains...they lasted for about 24hours and they are usually right in the middle of your cycle, however mine was on CD17 this month...OPKs don't work 4 me either!!! Just gotta listen to your body really.
Also you can keep a check of your CM...google it! I don't do this but I believe its very enlightening!!!!
