conception frustrations

Hello to all you ttc ladies, isnt this just the worst feeling in the world when you want something so badly and you just cant get it no matter how hard you try!

Can i have some opinions/advice please?

I am 25yrs old and was on the pill for 8 years before coming off over a year ago. I got pregnant after 3 months, but unfortunatley lost the baby. That was a year ago and since then my husband and i have been ttc with no luck.

How come i got pregnant 3 months after coming off the pill, but cant now?
Its just so frustrating. Is there anything i can do/take to help things along?

This is really starting to eat me up and i just dont know what i can do about it.
Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Thanks for reading this
L x

I did look into this a few months ago but looked really confusing.
We've just be doing the laid back approach, as in counting days.
But this clearly isnt working and i'm willing to give anything a go.

So did charting work for you? Seems very complicated!

Yes you do all seem very knowledgable and very friendly.

Its nice being able to talk to like minded women, and get good advice at the same time.

Thank you

Hi Lucy,

I did chart but I didnt go the whole hog as it were. I registered for fertilityfriend.com (FF for short) You can do it on a normal calendar but as they do a free trial I thought I'd try there and have it online as thats how I prefer to work. I did subscribe to it and the cost is very reasonable IMO.
I used FF to keep a track of how I was feeling and what day I was on. If you want some detailed help I can talk to you on MSN or PM you if you like. I put in my period and watched my CM (cervical mucus) to start with and then added in CP (cervical position). FF if particularly good if you are temping but I decided not to initially.
If you use the search facility on here you'll find lots of useful threads about the different things you can chart.
