Heya....

There are things you can do to increase your LP - right now if you conceived I think its unlikely that your body would give it time to implant properly.
I don't mean to scare you but it deinfitely needs looking into.

Not sure whos best to ask about this on here though - Hopefully someone will give you the answer.

I used i/c opks and I did get dark lines but they rarely went darker than the control line.
I think so long as you pick up an increase then you know Ovs on its way...

And... from your temps from last month you know you DO ovulate so that's good news!!!

Yeah I would see how this cycle goes, by your last chart I think you could have actualy O'd on cd24 and the next couple of temps are putting ff off, that would give you a 10 day lp which is perfectly acceptable for conception. I agree with cazd too, opks sometimes will only get darker, but not as dark as the control line, and that will be your +. Could be that they arnt sensitive ones or other factor like excess fluid intake or time of day that are affecting them. You just have to learn what a + one looks like for your body so just use one at a time, maybe during af, when you know its going to be neg so you can compare them.

WannaB, I was just about to post the same about Ov day looking more like CD24, which then also makes the LP a nice length.

Did you BD on CD22... this cycle?? Its looking promising and especially as you have EWCM recorded.... I defo go with everyone else and say CD24 last month. Do you remember if you temped at different times or whether it was a cold night, this could be the reason why those temps are down a little...

thank you for your replies everyone i really appreciate you taking the time to look at my charts, and its nice to have a better understanding at things, i suppose it is just a case of practice makes perfect so one day i might fully get my head around this charting stuff

firstly the opk's i am using are just the really thin stick things from the internet the really cheap ones in face they came with my BBT that i brought of ebay i got loads of them and out of all the time i have used them and i used them quite a lot i just don[t record them because they always show the same, they only ever show the control line nothing else.

i was wondering about cycle day 24 last month too but as it was my first full cycle chart didn't really look into it much, the 2 lower temps on days 26 & 27 were taken with 15 minutes of each other one at 7am and one at 6.45am which is normally the time i take my temps (between 6.45 and 7.15am normally) i dont remember any specific about those days like lack of sleep or it being a colder night than normal.

Yes we did BD on cycle day 22 this cycle

if my cycle days are exactly the same length every month and i ov'd on cycle day 24 last full cycle does that mean i should ovulate on cycle day 24 on this cycle that i am currently charting, if that makes sense

lots of baby dust to everyone xxxxx

do the sticks look anything like these ones?
they're i/c but they worked OK for me....
but if you can see them closely check out the times - its so easy to miss the surge. that's why I only ever use them to detect the surge is about to happen.

as for the temps they do sound pretty consistent.
I reckon you've got a short LP.
It'll be interesting to see if the patterns the same over a few months xxx

I never got any lines on the cheap OPKs until I happened to pee on one at 9am the one day and I finally got a good second line. I used them at the same time as First Response OPKs and I must agree that my positive on the cheap ones was never quite as convincing as on the First response ones.
Good luck with this cycle. x
