Disappearing thick line on HPT

Well my period is now 10 days late and I am getting really frustrated! So last night I took a cheapo HPT (I know I know but since agreeing to start trying OH and I have spent what seems like a fortune on tests) and got a thick positive line almost straight away, however, the positive line only stayed for about 10 mins and now it is negative. does this still class as a positive result? Sorry if I seem a bit dense?!

Although I've never personally known it to happen, most hpts that I've used have said that the results could fade after 48 hours, and to only go with the result found in the first ten minutes. So if you got a pos result in that time frame, it looks like you might have gotten your bfp. Take a FRER tomorrow to be sure. FXd!
