i'm a newbie :) please dont judge

Heyas i'm emmy and i'm a newbie i'm a bit worried about what people are gonna say in this section cos of my age. so yea i'm 18 and yes i'm trying to concieve and before i get ''i hope your stable enough'' lol i have a nice house with my bf james, he's a mechanic ( good money ) ;p and we've been together for 3yrs and just feel the time is so right after an accidental pregnancy then misscarriage in july and having the abortion procedure. and we are settled. so yea trying for a baby for 2/3 months. i guess september didn't count as i got scared what my folks would say again ( dont ask ) so i took the morning after pill twice. = / october tried didn't get pregnant, think i was ill on my ovulation days, so that could be down to it. and trying again this month, i think i actually ovulate today, my periods are on the 26th now thanks to the morning after pill in sept. so i worked out i ovulate 9th - 12th. i dont think i am ovulating this month though as i'm getting no white egg mucus. but am getting pain in the right area of my abdomen. help.

Hey hun, no judging, but Im 41 so you know what Im thinking! Anyway if you want to have the best chances you should use ovulation prediction kits to see if you can pick up when you are going to ovulate and whens the best time to get busy! Cervical mucus can be hit and miss, things can affect it like change in diet, stree and illness so you dont want to rely soley on its presence or lack of to know when you are ovulating or not. You could also do basal body temping to confirm your ovulation date and get to know what your luteal phase is then you ould know exactly when your period should arrive and when to get excited when it doesnt! Depends how keen you are to give yourself the best chance possible. Its all pretty easy to work out and only too happy to give you a hand if you get stuck on anything.

I was about to say WannaB, No one is going to judge you as that is what his site is for, TTC!
but i would advise using some other methods of trying to figure out your cycles instead of thinking that its text book. for first couple of months ttc, i thought that was the cae, i was far from it, i found out, and regular for 13months now, i ovulate late and have a short luteal phase. if it was not for ovulation sticks etc, i would still be in the dark.

nobody is here to judge you so you dont need to worry on that front.

i am only 21 so not that much older than you, and was 20 when we decided we wanted to start trying for a baby... ive heard that grapefruit juice is quite good for procuding egg white mucus, im gonna try some if i dont get a bfp this month

good luck on your ttc journey! x
