Anyone else not sick of being irregular and not knowing when your ovulating?

The witch got me last tuesday and shes almost leaving now. I used to be irregular (every other month or more sometimes), but I thought It was better last year. Last year it was generally every 32 or 43 days . The last cycle ended up being approx 55 days. I tried cerazette briefly at the start of the year so Im guessing its thrown my off again (was on cerazette and the combined pill for alltogether 3 months).

It's really driving me mad. I've only been trying for 4 months properly so it's still early. But I keep worrying there will be something wrong with my fertility. I've always had concerns (Because of having irregular painful periods in the past) but my mother had to have a total hysterectomy earlier this year due to severe Endometriosis cysts and she hadnt been using contraception in over ten years. So it's made me very paranoid. I had a PCOS blood test a few years ago and it came back fine, but the only way to find if you have endemetriosis is a procedure I really dont want to have done yet. If my cycle was regular It would be easier to BD on time.

And my poor partner. Everytime I say I'm late his eyes sparkle up with hope and then Its always BFN. It's really getting me down.

I don't suppose anyone knows any ways that help to make AF regular or to help conceive?. I'm a pagan witch and quite into new age ideas if anyone has any suggestions from that side of things too?
Sorry for the rant :s

I used a natural supplement called Chaste Tree. It is slow acting and can take a few months, but it is worth it because it worked for me. I know how you feel. Good luck to you

hello Ghost,
i'm so sorry about your cycles, and i can so relate. for the last year, my cycles have been long and erratic. my o.b. prescribed femara (letrozole) to help regulate my cycle and to help me ovulate, but ironically enough, on the first month of taking it, i had the longest cycle i have ever had (ovulated on CD32)! i did end up getting a bfp, but unfortunately ended up being a chemical pregnancy. i have tried chaste tree as well, but i don't believe i used it long enough for it to take effect (i stopped using it after 2 months-- i'm a bit impatient, i suppose!). i might give it a shot if you're looking for natural solutions. i don't know too much about endometriosis, but i have heard that acupuncture and herbs can be extremely helpful as a nice alternative to traditional western medicine (one of my dear friends has endometriosis and swears by acupuncture). have you considered perhaps speaking with a naturopath? i actually am going to see a naturopath/acupuncturist next week to see if she can help get my cycle back on track.. well just know that you are not alone, and that you WILL get your bfp! we all will. very best of luck to you!

Im a big fan of the acupunture! I would steer clear of the Chaste tree or Angus Castus for the moment though until you can get to the bottom of those irregular periods, it can throw you out even more if its just a matter of settling after the b/c and theres nothing wrong. I would try b6 as well it doesnt throw anything out and can help regulate those hormones. Are you using anything like opks or temping to help try and pin point that elusive egg of yours? Loving your avatar piccy, absolutley fab!

I, too, never know when I'm ovulating. I have PCOS, which gives me long, irregular cycles, sometimes never ovulating. It sucks sooo bad.

I've only been trying for 4 months too. Every month I get so excited at the possibility of missing my period, and when/if I do, it's heartbreaking to find out that it was just my cycle being messed up.
