Im a newbie Help needed....

Hello
Im Kim im 27 and have been on the pill since i was 16. I was put on Dianette to help my acne and have been on various different pills since. Ive been on Marvelon for at least 5 yrs and have just stopped taking it. I just wondered if anyone was on this pill and their experiences after coming off of it????

was taking marvelon for three years before ttc stoppes taking it bout a year ago now, but no :BFP: yet! periods have taken a while to get back on track! although not sure thats pill related! think thats due to lack of ovulation! was on various pills prior to marvelon for a total of bout 8 years! although the best hope you get your :BFP: soon!

Thanks for your reply, i had very infrequent periods before going on the pill so thats my main worry.

obviously you know my experience of coming off the pill so i'm just dropping in to say good luck

Hi! Welcome! I came off my pill (Ovranette) last month, and this is my first month TTC. I had been on the pill for 5 years, and had regular periods before this. AF is due on Sunday, that is if i don't get my

so i'm waiting to see if they go back to normal or not! Hope your body adjusts to it quickly! x

I was on Tricyclen at first and alesse for the last 5 year.
Been of the pill since may. Period was regular right away but no BFP yet

I was on depo for a while but it has been years since i been off, and still not getting a bfp.. I dont know why either

Hi

I was on dianette since i was 16 (for my spots too), then when i was about 24 i was put on microgynom. Came of that in February, and i am now 28. Was worried about being on the pill so long, and it effecting TTC, but the nurse said you can concieve by just missing one days pill, so there is no reason not to concieve straight away - and got the usual reposnse of 'just have some fun, don't worry about getting pregnent, it will happen when its meant to' !!

Periods have been ranging from 27-35 days, but last 2 months have been just 30 days, so have a good idea when i ov. Only other thing i have noticed is some spots come back around my jawline, and slightly bigger bbs over the past few months. Hope that is just hormones setling down.

i was on the depo and it took a while for things to get back to normal. how long since you came off the pill? xx
