6 dpo question...

Ok so I OV'd on Monday Nov 2. Pretty sure as I had all my normal signs and on Tuesday I dried up and my OS was closed again. Today is 6 DPO and I couldn't help but notice that my CM has gotten quite a bit of stretch in it. We're talking at least 3 inches from finger to finger. I can barely get it to go that far when I have my normal fertile CM at O time. I know you shouldn't read too much into that as far as looking for conception or anything, but it is definitely not normal for me. I guess I'm just looking for some insight as to whether it's normal or if I should get excited... or anything really. It just really perplexed me.

Hi Armywife,
I've not read anything in the fertility friend FAQ section that talks about this, other than saying that cm is no indicator of pregnancy. They also say that spotting isn't necessarily a sign of pregnancy, but they stress that all women and their cycles are different - they're really careful not to give anybody too much hope I think! Think you're going to just have to keep your fingers crossed. I'm 2 dpo so I'm starting to experienc 2ww insanity too. Have you seen the Bonfire Babies ttc thread? Fingers crossed for you!

I think we're on the same cycle date, and the exact same happened to me this month. I got very stretchy cm a couple of days ago, then a few days of creamy cm, and now I'm spotting brown! I don't know what's happening, I'll just have to wait and see what happens. sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

xxx

If the brown spotting isn't normal for you and you're still a week away from AF or so then that could be a good sign. maybe implantation bleeding. I hope so at least. let me know how it goes for you and here's hoping for our BFPs
