I want to start using OPK's if my hubby didnt Preggo my Eggo this cycle FX that he did Tho!! im trying to learn about them but they sound so confusing! also i might start taking/Charting my temp what time of day should i take my temp and what on day should i pee on the OPKs? and about the basal thermometer.. (((WARNING DUMB QUESTION AHEAD))) do you take your temp. orally with a basal thermometer?? sorry i just wanna make sure i do this right.. that sounds akward.. lol

with opks, theres 2 types just like hpts, ones u can pee on... and ones u dip, the ones u dip are most common /cheapest,

i use the dip type,basically, u pee into a cup ( i use a little plastic cup) and then hold the dip stick in the pee for the length of time it states on the instructions

no line - neg, faint line means start getting jiggy ur getting there, the idea is the darker the test line the closer ov is, the test line gets as dark or darker than the control line 36-24 hours before egg is released then ur opks will start to pale and then back to neg, i use www.yourdays.com to help guide me when ov will be too as it highlights your fertile week in green

I just got my OPKs like 4days ago and ya never belive it but the day i got em and i tested and got a positve, which is about right as i was on CD20 and i O on cd20-21, then i tested the day after and it was slightly fainter, now today i tested and theres bearly a line there, Its the frist time ive used them but it is pretty clear what to look for with them, and yeh when its positive it means your going to O withing the next 12-36 hours or roughly soo.

With the question when to use your OPKs, because you are charting that will comfirm the day you O, with using OPKs also this will tell you when O's coming, so depending when you roughly O in your cycle, if you dont know then i would start testing from cd10 onwards till you get a positive.

with temping i havnt been a good girl this month with sticking to it lol, but i know that you really havto temp at the same time everyday to keep it constant, and after 4hours of sleep without distrubance(spelling??) so best time will probably when you get up to go to work or whatever, say 7am everyday for the month, and temping ive been told you either temp with it in your mouth or vaginally. when you have your AF it doesnt really matter if you dont temp those days as temping helps comfirm O...so start temping day finishing your AF if you wanted.

anything else to do with temping i wouldnt have a clue as all ^^that i learnt off others.
