If I did get my BFN on 13DPO then it is a BFN for the cycle right? I mean I am so close to 14DPO and that would be the testing date. FF suggested i test this morning at 13DPO b/c of my LP. Should I have hope if AF is still not here tomorrow? I just feel at this point BFN is going to be BFN. Opinions.

Also I am testing with internet cheapies, could that be the problem? I am sooooo frustarted that my cycle has been this long and still no AF and when FF said test today I got my hopes up! Now all I want to do is cry!

13DPO is NOT late considering "average" luteal phase is 14 days...and after 14DPO some girls still wont get a BFP till a few days later. Just because your leteal phase is a very short one, doesn't mean you'll gain HCG quicker than someone with a longer LP...fertilization and implantation will take around the same amount of time...

I didnt get a bfp till 17dpo with my last pregnancy, I tested bfn even on 14 dpo.

Internet cheapies are also probably less sensitive even though they advertise themeselves to be more so...Look in the hpt which do you rate/slate thread, and theres a lady who was showing pos on other tests but still wasnt showing on the cheapies until well after she knew she was preggo

yeah i agree, 13/14 d.p.o and no af is def a good sign . As they say its not over til the fat lady sings and fingers crossed the witch aint coming!! Sometimes you can just be late , i was 14 days late this last cycle and then got af, think i prob worried myslef into being late tho in the end. That doesn't mean that the witch will get you. Loads of people get bfp after 14 d.p.o on this site. Sending you baby dust!!! xxx

I didn't get a BFP on my cheapies until 4 days after I got BFPs on CB digi and Sainsbury's own.

No, if you tested on Day 13 and it was negative, it may well be wrong. A lot of women would test positive at that point, but not all, especially if implantation occured later than Day7.
Ive known women test on Day 13 and get a negative result and go on to get their BFP that cycle....I myself only had a VERY faint positive with my son on Day 16, but that was with a Predictor test and they are not as sensitive as some of the tests on the market.
