I'm OVULATING-how do I pinpoint exact day?

Hi-I have been charting EVERYTHING all month and have narrowed OV to this weekend but was wondering if/how you can know the exact day? Beware TMI following!

I have a regular 26 day cycle. OPK test first positive Thurs day 11 around 2pm and has stayed positive still this morning (Sat day 13) still at 6am.

I thought when I got the positive OPK Thurs. around 2 that OV would be 24-36 hours after which meant Friday afternoon until sometime after midnight......however since I still have a positive OPK Sat. morning-what does that mean????? I heard it is important to know the exact day so you know your luteal phase.

(Felt mild cramping around one ovary for about 4 hours on wed. day 10. After a temp in the 98's during period it dropped to high 97's and then this week has dipped to low 97's. This morning it was a higher 97. Cervix seems high-but NO signs of EWMC although have been using Robittuson and wondering if that made it too watery.)

Sorry, can't help as I'm having the same trouble, got a + opk yesterday afternoon and still strong + today. Don't know what day I will/have ov'd on!!! I don't temp.

Will be interesting to find out thought.

I just started temping & all that other stuff this month b/c I am getting desparate. I have become insane-I went through 30 OPK tests in 13 days, geezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

You know I think that today might actually be ov day for me, having some SERIOUS cramping going on low down on my right side today, never ever had it as sore as this before!!! Ouch!!! lol We b'd at about 1 am this morning and will have another go just shortly me thinks!!

I know, I have turned into a poas addict too!!! You can't help it!!! How long have you been ttc for?? This is our 3rd cycle, stopped bc in August, 1st month using opk's so not sure if I ov'd the last times but this one ef feels different!! Fingers x'd

I had that cramping too-but it was weird it happened on Thurs. a full day before I got a surge on the OPK. I have been TTC since JANUARY. grrrrrr.
Hope its much shorter for you! I want a girl too!!!!!

Do you have a link to your chart?

Ovulation can usually be pinpointed to the day before a clear thermal shift with sustained high temperatures of at least 3 days.

It would be difficult to pinpoint your ovulation day at the moment, but should be clearer over the next few days.

I don't know how to set up an online chart? Been doing one at home on paper.....Thanks for the help-I think I get it now-but am curious about the LH surge for 3 days on the OPK.

As we have lh in our system all the time, its best not to test in the morning as it will be picking up the low levels you have as well and could be causing it to be a positive. Its better to only use them between 10am-8pm as your morning wee will have it concentrated and might not pick up a real surge but just a concentrated version of your normal lh level. Hope that makes sense!

Sorry I haven't replied, we were away last night, just home half an hour ago so I haven't don an opk yet today but will just shortly. Still getting cramps but not as bad as yesterday. Had loads of cm, sorry tmi! lol Couldn't b'd last night as we were staying at my parents

not a good idea!!!

How are you feeling today?

TITI ~ if you keep getting a + it could be that your body is tryong to release an egg but did not manage to. I dont know why this happens but this is if you keep getting a + for more than 2/3 days
