Ive been poas like mad and have had an evap on every single test regardless of brand, some within the time limit...I was curious so I got my OH to poas aswell and guess what.....an evap, although not as clear as my ones...damn hpts!

Just wondering if how many of you have had evap lines before?

I had what I think was one last night. It even looked line shaped!!!! It was pink and everything. Then I took another one and it was glowing white.

I'm gonna be really thick and ask what an evap is and how do you know it's an evap?

An evap is a faint ghost like line with no colour on a hpt where the positive should be...but its not a positive result..It happens because moisture or dryness make the strips antibody strip more visible...or as the test dries

They can look dent like, and even appear to have colour, but usually appear after the time frame eg. 10 mins Thats why you shouldnt look at the test after even if it turns 'positive'

Warning aswell: Any plus or minus tests may turn positive after the time frame, because the dye from minus strip leaks onto the vertical strip...
