I felt the same way when I first started joining TTC boards. The most I knew was my cycle length and when to try. You pick up and learn things fast though, and people here are always willing to help you out if you're curious about something. I'm still just going with my cycle and using a fertility monitor, but that's about as far as I'll go. :P

Sometimes I think the less you know, the better
Women did it for years without really knowing what the heck was going on in there, so don't let it get you down. You'll learn along the way!

Yes i definatly agree with lauren10
Last year when we was TTC i did not know much, and i didnt want to either, didnt want to make it a job and take the fun away, and 3 months later with no tracking or anything i was pregnant Sadly ended in MC

And im the same now, i know alot more but i dnt use the stuff i know.
Just makesure i understand my body, never used OPK's or temping.

Dont worry you will pick up fast

Couldn't agree with you more Lauren.

Once I start a new cycle am going to try the NTNP approach as feel that am becoming a bit obsessed about looking for symptoms etc.

Im the same hun

I never had a clue about my cycles when i fell preggers with both my daughters, just did the deed every other day throughout my cycle and hoped for the best! Got preggers first time with both

I know bit more this time, cycle length, when im likely to ovulate etc but i know if i think about it too much it will get obsessive lol!

As others said you will soon know everything there is too know reading other peoples posts

I concieved first cycle with my son just by doing the deed every other day.

I'm still doing this this time but also taking my temperature and to be honest the temperature and charting thing is making it worse i'm constantly thinking about it so I think if i'm not pregnant this cycle then next cycle i'm just going to do the deed every other day like before and not bother temping etc.

good luck to everyone

I am! and think that I won't get pregnant if I don't do all the temps and everything which is silly!
