hair dye
ok.....i know you're not to dye your hair while you're pregnant.....but for those of you ho do dye your hair.....do you do it in the TTW?
I want pink streaks in my hair and i have an appointment tomorrow afternoon....but in 2 minds whether or not to get it done - not just coz of TWW but coz the sinks really flare up my RSD
Well I have never heard that b4!!!! Hair chemicals don't secreet back into ur body, surely?!!!
All I know is that me and my friend had our hair dyed at the same time and her hair did not take like mine...only later to find out she was preggers!!!
It's ok to have your hair dyed whilst you're pregnant, although you are best not to get in done in the first and last few months (or so i've been told). The only problem with having your hair dyed, is that the colour can vary because of the hormones. I think this is more a matter of opinion (whether you can dye whilst pregnant or not), so best to do what you're happy with.
I got highlights whilst I was in the middle of my pregnancy.
As far as I knew you shouldn't get your hair dyed while pregnant. MY understanding is that the body absorbs the chemcals. I suppose it depends on what you are having done. I would have thought a diy rinse would be ok, but full on ammonia and peroxide maybe not! I top my roots up though and don't think whether the appointment is in the tww or not xx
Hey girls..I"m new, but I'm also a stylist, and there is nothing wrong with having your hair done while you are pregnant...if you are having the colors applied with foils. I wouldn't recommend an all over hair color in the first trimester or so, but after that you should be ok. I know when I was preggie with DD I had a hard time with the smells of color....when I was working on clients...let alone...having them on my scalp...Good Luck, and have fun with the pink!! If the salon you are going to does fashion extensions...you might try that...they will stay pink a lot longer, and then you don't have to worry about color!
