I did an ovulation test on Saturday and it was positive, I did one everyday last week and there was a faint line that kept getting darker, by Saturday morning it was a very dark line. We on Wednesday night, do you think we were too early?

You could still be good. Did you BD any other day this weekend? If you haven't confirmed O yet, then I would still be BDing.

I agree with Tanya. Keep BDing until O is confirmed.

I started using an OPK (cheap from internet) last Monday. The test was negative, I did a test every morning last week, I finally saw a very faint line which got darker and darker, It was at it darkest on Saturday. I've done another test this morning and it's faded again.
We BD'd on Wednesday night but due to unfortunate circumstances we haven't done it since. Due to work commitments we won't see each other until Friday now.

This is the first time i've TTC and this is all new to me. I've been reading websites/books and i've been on this forum loads trying to learn what happens.

I dont think you missed it by bedding Wednesday at all, dont forget those opk's only give you the 2 most ferttile days they say, you are actually fertile for about six or so days before you get that positive I think, from what ive been reading and so wednesday would have fallen into that. Also if they were strong spermies they may have been able to hang around a bit too, so you never know. Ideally you would bd more but youve done your best for this month so let's see. Hope you get a bfp this month!!! x

Theres a chance that the spermies could last for a few days if the conditions were right so you might still have caught it! for you. x
