all HIGHs on clear blue fertility monitor

Hello,

I have used my CBFM for two cycles now, and have never gotten a peak reading....this happened to anyone else? I know it happened to Tishimouse one cycle (or the same cycle she is on now). I have been poas instead of dipping the stick in a cup...

I just feel like I am waisting my time in the mornings when I go poas to see another high again and again! Maybe I am producing too much estrogen? I dunno...

I only used it for one cycle so far but I only got High as well. I actually looked at the stick afterwards one day and saw it was darker so I used a digital OPK and got a positive. I was not thrilled!!! I am going to use both again this month and if I don't get Peak but do get the +OPK again, I am writing to the company for my money back!

Are you on Clomid? Sometimes that can skew the reading on the CBEFM.

no not on clomid. I am sorry that it is giving you the same results mrsstevens. It says in the packet not to use the blue lines on the sticks as indication of Oing...like opks. The sticks are only to be read my the monitor. All the highs could be attributed to all kinda of things...but I am going to continue to try it for the rest of this cycle and reset it for my new one in March. I am going to the doc in April and if all looks good with the doc and the monitor continues to give me highs forever, I am not going to continue to use it. I am unsure if I can write them or get money back if I bought it on Amazon.com....<?>

Aren't you taking some vitamin supplements as well Avistar? Maybe those are causing the scewed results? I'm not taking any supplements (although I keep meaning to take my folic acid!) and the monitor seems to be working fine for me. So far this cycle I've gotten lows all the way up to CD10 though. I hope you get a peak this month!

Am only on CD4 today, so waiting to start testing this cycle.

Last cycle as you know I got 19 HIGH's and 1 LOW but found out by the end of my cycle that ovulation was delayed to CD39!! It's no wonder I didn't get a PEAK reading. You never know, that could be what's happened to you too.

If it looks like it's happening again for me this cycle, I'm going to buy some cheapie OPK's to use for the remainder of the cycle when the monitor stops asking for sticks.

Best of luck ladies

I just got my peak today after 3 high days. I do look at the lines on the sticks and they always fit with the reading I get. When the estrogen rises one of the lines gets fainter (as it should) and I get a high reading. When the other line gets darker (like for the first time today) I get a peak reading. It's what peeonastick.com said should happen.

I pee in a cup first and dip it for exactly 15 seconds, put the cap on and put it away until the pee has gone into the little circular window, then I put it in the monitor. This method seems to work, I was afraid I was doing something wrong because I kept getting low readings, turns out I just O late.

I dunno...maybe it could be the vitamins...but when I first started using the CBFM I wasn't taking a multi vitamin everyday like I have been the past two months. I just don't know...if I O late, then wouldn't it keep giving me lows until around O-time....?
