For you ladies with longer cycles or delayed ovulation I would suggest tricking the monitor and telling it you are on CD1 when you are really on say CD5 or CD10...that way it will ask you for sticks later in your cycle and you're more likely to catch the peak? I'd say its worth a shot if you still continue to get highs.

Hi all,

I too caved in and bought a CBFM and this is my first month of trying it. We have been ttc for 6 months now and my cycles have been 28,28,26,26,29,26. 2 months ago I used CB OPK and got a + on day 12, then last month I used a mixture of cheepies and CB and got nothing.

I am currently on day 19/20 and just had my 13th "high". I'm finding it very frustrating as I belive my af will show up in less than a week but this thing is telling me I havent OV yet???? Surlely if I wasnt going to OV then it should go back down to low????

This thing has got my head done in. any advice welcome

last cycle i was similiar if you click on my chart, maybe you are just ovulating late this cycle? are you holding the stick right etc? i think your supposed to we on it and put it straight in the machine, don't wait till it starts to move up the stick etc

Yeah I completely understand how you are feeling babyb! I have never once gotten a peak on my CBFM and used it for 3 cycles. I do have irregular periods though and do think that I O later in my cycles. I think what justme0 suggested is good You have pretty short cycles though...

I have read in the packet that sometimes the CBFM will give you all highs if it is your first time using it, as it needs to get used to your readings....I dunno about all that, but it could be the problem too...

Try to keep calm and continue using the monitor. It has really worked for a lot of women I on the other hand am going back to the cheapie opks....keep us all updated on your readings. Lots of luck to you

Hi, this is the first time I've used the CBFM (after m/c in Jan) and I had lows day 6-10 and high days 11-15. Thats 5 days of highs and I am yet to peak and getting a bit panicked that I won't peak. Am just taking folic acid and doing the poas method with the sticks. Anyone else had this many highs then still peaked??

Polly, I had highs for 7 days this month and then peak. I was a little freaked out at how many highs I got this month but it eventually came, 3 days after I was expecting it too. Now in the TWW so we will see if it has owrked it's magic. This was my 2nd cycle using the monitor. Good luck, let us know if you get a peak
