I'm Currently Feeling:

Hi Slip,

I can TOTALLY relate!! so much, and hey, im from Glasgow as well

I just mc my first, im 37, 38 in 2 weeks and Im going to doc to sign up for fertility treatment as well.. just in case.. im not gettimg any younger either...

My friend is 40,41 in April and after trying since 35 signed up 2 years ago and although she had a miscarriage in Jan on IVF she's starting another go in April. She's really positive and has been a great help to me.

Its never too late and dont, what ever you do lose hope.

She told me there's lots of women older than here that got lucky w/ivf where she's at so although time and waiting is unbearable at times, stay on the road you're on and try to keep focused... but i know its harder said than done!

I totally feel less that charitable when i see pregnant women-thats normal!
I work for the council , social services and when i see women who are using heroin pregnant for the 3rd time etc.. yeah, i get annoyed, angry even. How can you not?

We are being so good to ourselves, taking folic acid, watching what we eat ect etc.. and our most desired wish seems elusive- but i dont think unattainable. it will happen for us all, take care and feel free to send me message if you wanna chat sometime, all the best

Thanks Omi. Ive made an appointment with my gp as i've since been told you can get clomid from ur GP. SHe never offered this to me so I am quite interested in finding out of this is available.

Sorry to hear about your m/c and keep my fingers crossed things will go well for you the next time. I'd love if you kept me informed of your progress.

I know, we take all sort of good things to help our bodies conceive and all the junkies fill their bodies with smack and end up with six kids!!! Yep life's not fair.

Is your friend going private for IVF?? My mate did and it cost her £4000 and luckily she fell pregnant the first time. There is no way i could afford that.

It makes me feel so much better knowing i'm not alone in feeling the way i do.
Luv and kisses

ps i am the mother of two cats too xx

More Glasgow girlies

Yep i definatley feel resentment sometimes, more so when i hear of those stories of women who fall pg but end up getting the kids taken off them or something similar.

everytime someone i know tells me they r preg i sit in the bathroom and cry coz i wish it cud be me

i hate being this way i feel hateful and mean but its just so hard

I work with high risk families. I go into homes all the time and since my m/c I now find myself thinking ....why do you have children when you don't even care for them and my DH and I want one so bad and we lost ours...it doesn't seem fair.

Hi Slip,

My friend is in a similar situation to you and me- no funds for private im afraid. So its on the NHS but she said they've been great so thats good to know.
I also have another friend, more of an aquaintance i should say, she's 32 and will be starting treatment soon as well. So the system works well just w/a long waiting list unfortunately... we're not alone!

As far as myself, im going to start again as soon as the bleeding stops (sorry TMI ).. back in the saddle so to speak, lol!

Dont despair, just keep going and know you are normal in every way, which, luckily coming on here i found i am as well, phew!

Take care and all the best, love

ps, thats one of my cats in the avatar, sleeping!- Mango, the weirdo! Lol!!
