3 days late but BFNs

I stopped taking my BCP back at the end of Dec, and had my AF about 2 days after I stopped, and again in Jan on the day I was expecting it. My cycle has always been 27days while I was on the pill, and as AF came on the expected day last month (first month after stopping BCP), it seemed that that was still the case.

This however, would mean that AF was due on 20th (3 days ago) but there is absolutely no sign of it so far. Last week, I had the occasional cramp and my BBs are feeling a little tender, but nothing particularly noticable. Having no AF symptoms is great, but seeing as I'm not having an PG symptoms either - including a number of BFNs - then I'm a little confused!

My questions are - Have any of you come off of BCP, had regular AF and then it go irregular randomly after that?

and also, I have only so far tested with early preg. internet cheapies, have any of you had complete BFNs with those, only to have BFP with another brand?

Anything you have to comment would be great, I'm driving myself and the OH a little crazy!

Hi Lovely

I dont have any advice but wanted to say i can understand what you are going through. I know some girls on here have had BFN with cheapies and BFP with the more expensive brands.

Good luck xx

I am late for my period but got a BFN with a Tesco cheapie on Friday. Gonna test with a CB Digi (the 'pregnant' / 'not pregnant' one) tomorrow morning if still no-show as my AF would usually be in full flow by now with heavy spotting 3 days b4 but nothing apart from a teensy bit if brown mixed with CM last night and this morning.

When I came off the pill, I was a day or 2 late first month but normal after (more earlier than usual AFs than late).

I'd recommend u buy a more expensive test, Boots r doing offers on First response from what I hear. Good luck honey, I hope we get our BFPs. x
