Hang in there Alice. I've been TTC since November as well and it's a bit frustrating when others around you get pg first. Just have to remember that our time will come soon.

I know how lucky I am to already have 2 lovely kids, but still find it really frustrating that we can't seem to get it right for number 3, so I can understand exactly how you feel hun.

We wanted another close to Charlie, ideally within a year, so started ttc again as soon as he was born. Almost 18 months on, and nothing.Everyone around me is pg again, and someone at work has just had their 2nd last week, and they got pg first month of trying for both kids! How???

I'm almost 38 and want at least 2 more kids, and every month is another month closer to that dreaded menapause when the "do we have more kids?" decision is taken out of our hands. We are desperate for more and it just isn't happening.

But, we're trying not to let it take over our lives anymore. We're living for today, and planning for the future, and if another LO comes along, fantastic.

It will happen for us all _Alice_, I'm confident in that. And then we will be the ones on here consoling others who are going through the ttc journey, and telling them that their time will come.

Oh lovely, I am sorry that you are feeling so sad, is your ticker correct? If so, you only have 5 days to test - you could get a BFP

i know exactly how you feel... it can be sooo frustrating. For me personally i thought i'd be lucky right away, i mean you just do! You take such care not getting pregnant for so long, and then you hear about people getting 'accidentally' pregnant, you're just bound to feel a but cheated and fed up when you dont.

And then you feel like, 'whats the point' etc etc.. i know! it took me just over 6 months of careful planning b4 i got pregnant and I'm 37, which is within normal for most couples.. however, when in the thick of every week feels like a bloody lifetime (sorry)..

I have since lost the baby, missed mc with a d&c after, but im ready to try again. Although its back to the drawingboard so to speak, im also hopeful that although this is (unfortunately) such a difficult journey, its a journey none the less and one many, many ,successfully even, take!
