Why aren't my lines getting darker?

Tested on Sunday with FRER fmu - very faint line. Tested yesterday fmu - very faint again. Tested today fmu - line hardly visible but still there. Superdrug tests showed a better line during the day today - not fmu (see other thread) but why aren't the lines getting any darker - does that matter?
Please help. Baby dust to all :-)

Forgot to say 16 dpo - ov late this month!

Hiya, how confusing for you. Think that the time of day helps, but if you live near an early pregnancy unit it might be worth going to see them, they can do more sensitive blood tests.

You could wait another 2 days (since HCG should double every 48 hours) and use FMU. Try another brand of PG test.

The best bet is to go get a quantitative blood test (how much miu/HCG), but not qualitative (typically tests at 25 miu/HCG for a yes or no answer.)

Sending sticky over!

Hey,
I don't mean this in a horrible way, but if you've already had a positive test I think this thread would be better in First Trimester. For the same reasons there are guidelines against posting pics of positive tests in here it's probably best not to post threads relating to BFPs either.

In answer to your question though, give it 48 hours and try again, or better yet accept that you got the BFP and get over to the pregnancy forums where you'll get a lot of reassurance from those who have been through the same thing xx
