I'm Currently Feeling: | Frustrated Well AF turned up today virtually on time. This is our 6th month of TTC I know this is not a long time but when you think it is actually half a year it’s a bit scary. I've got a titled womb and starting to think that this might be causing problems.
I'm so frustrated because my DH and I planned when we were going to start TTC by paying off as much of the mortgage as possible and making sure all our finances are good, we did lots of travelling, I have never used any form of contraceptive pill, I have virtually given up alcohol since TTC, I go to the gym twice a week, I eat very healthy, we have used the CBFM for two cycles now and used pre seed this last cycle but still no luck.
Then I was looking on the CBFM website and it stated that -
'In a recent study use of the Clearblue Fertility Monitor was proven to increase the chances of conception by 89% within first 2 cycles of use, based on a study of 302 women who used the Clearblue Fertility Monitor for 2 cycles compared to a control group of 347 women who did not use the Clearblue Fertility Monitor.'
Now I feel I'm outside the norm. I was also reading that it you do not conceive within 6 months of using the CBFM to consult with your GP. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm so sorry that the got you. I know it's hard, but try not to worry too much, it does take some women longer than others. Most women will conceive within a year of trying. Good luck |

| Agree with Miel, try not to be despondent. It can take up to a year (year of TTC TORTURE!!!!) - thing is, envisaging it taking a year is kinda nightmarish right? But it's just biology and human nature and stuff, and out of our control. As has been said on here b4, it's so frustrating when you hear about 14 year old chavs who eat curries every night getting PG (sorry, I sound like a right-winger but I'm not - you know what I mean!) or see the likes or Kerry Katona (D-list celeb in UK) who's been PG 4 times yet is a (allegedly) a coke-snorting, hamburger chomping, smoking, drinking lard ass and you think WHY NOT ME?????????????????????????????????????????
BUT, deep breaths, it will come ... x |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm sure I read somewhere that if you have a tilted womb lie on your front rather than your back after you have done the deed - hope that helps a bit |

I'm Currently Feeling: | My doctor says a tilted womb makes no difference whatsoever, so please dont worry about that... She did suggest that doggy style ( ) was the best position to concieve in though. Youll get there hun... fingers crossed for you! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thanks everyone - I always get upset/frustrated on the first day of AF but usually feel better by CD2. We've decided to plan something to look forward to aswell as TTC - like a holiday - so we can focus on something else which will hopefully distract us for a short while and give us something to aim for.
Doggy style is my DH fav so will defo be saving that position until last
Thanks again everyone - this site is so helpful and supportive | | | | Status: Offline
