How reliable would you say those cheapie paper strip HPTs are? Is there a certain time of the day when you're suppose to pee on them? I think they're a bit rubbish and don't know whether i trust them!

I think they are fine but aren't as sensitive as some of the pricier brands. I tested using a combination of cheapies and more expensive tests and got BFN's on all of them until 5 days after I expected AF to arrive.

I got my positive using the internet cheapies. I don't know how late I was as my cycles were all over the place but the first test was very faint, two days later it was darker. I confirmed with a CB digital that day. I used first morning urine with the cheapies, though I got a positive later in the day as well.

So in my opinion they work just fine!

They're great for getting your POAS fix! I used loads and then when I thought I was in with a chance I used a CB digital so I could see it in writing!
