I am using CBs OPK for the 1st time this cycle....
Well, am using cheapo 'one step' ones from after af and up to CD11, then using the CB ones until CD18...then back on to the cheapies.
I got my CB OV 7 tests off ebay for £8.00....bargain!!! Brand new, still with cellophane on!
At first I thought I was doing it wrong and spoilt 2 tests, so I rang CB helpline...they were sooooooooo helpful...now I can do it properley and they are sending me 2 free tests through the post...how kind r they?
So here's hoping for a BFP on month one of my OPK trials lol!!!!

Last month was my first month using them so it was a bit hit and miss.

I think its really a process of trial and error because everyones cycles are different.

I found i didnt get a clear positive using cheapies but the line was certainley darker on one or two days than others.

What are you using to test?

I usually do this with the clearblue POKs:

1- start testing from CD12 (I have a 28 days cycle)
2- I dont test with FMU
3- I test 2 times a day
4- Test at 11:30am or 12pm and at 7pm
5- Try to hold form entering the bathroom for a couple of hour and restrain the intake of water a bit
5- I always get a positive one by doing this.
6- ahh and check the expiration date of the test.

The only time I had one I just guessed really that it was the right time to test and sure enough it was positive. I'd been using the clearblue digital ones. I always knew roughly when I was ovulating though, just through pains and CM but never had a positive OPK before that.

thanks for all your help, thats some really good advice. hopwfully my cbfm will work!!
