I've not used these before, my cycle is pretty regular (27 days) and I usually get cramps on C13 &14 so i think thats when i ovulate. However after 8 months of ttc without science, if this month isn't successful I'm going to try the predictor kits. I priced them today, and it was the clearblue's I was looking at in Boots. 7 sticks for £19.99 (but they are doing a free Clearblue preg test with every clearblue product at the moment) its still pricey though. Am I right in thinking you POAS just like you would a preg test? Do you need to do it every day on your cycle or just around the time you think you expect to O?

I know if its a positive cos the test line is always as dark as the control line or darker. If I test again there's either no line or a very faint one so I know the previous day was a winner.most months thats worked for me.I don't monitor ovulation any other way, wouldn't have a clue how to do it.hope that helps. I use clear blue opk tests but they are pricey, prob why I have no money!
This is exactly what i did. But you have to be consistant and do it every morning until you get the positive. I did the First Response OPK because they are a littel less expensive then the CB OPK. Good luck andI hope this is your month! I hope you get your and sending out bunches of

The past two cycles i've used cheapies and tested pretty much every day (except towards the end of my cycle) and i've never had a positive on them. I've used mid afternoon wee as it says not to use fmu i've kind of give up on them now, some people find them better than others good luck x

I agree with what Jo says about not using fmu, so tended to do mine when I got in from work. As I have only used cheapies I don't know if its the same for clearblue. I started using them at about cd11 (ish), as I think tend to ov late. I am just never sure when to stop using them!!!!! Once I get a positive I tend to be mo relaxed about it, and only do them if I think I have ov pain. I have only used them about 3 cycles, so might try it again this time.
