Lol aww thanks girls.

Still 2 hours to go. It's near 1pm here.
I just got home from a coffee date with a girlfriend. She knew
I was nervous and decided to distract me for the morning!

Back home now and biting my nails again lol

Well *cracks knuckles*

Turns out I'm not ovulating AT ALL! That came as a bit of a shock.
I also have PCOS, which even though I thought still came as a shock.
And to top it off DH has a lower than normal sperm count.

Yippee

But, on a lighter note. He has given me a script for both clomid (50mgs)
and Metformin (500mgs). He wants more blood work and DH to get another
sperm test.

So, even through the not so good news I've found hope. When I got a little
teary (did I say a little, I kind of meant a lot) His words were
"Sweetheart, this is not something that we can't fix, this we can work with"

He then told me before leaving.
"If the clomid and metformin work, and you time things right, there's nothing
to say you won't be pregnant this time next month when you come back to
see me"



So THAT has me on a high!

aww sweetie not ovulating! must have been hard to hear those words. your Doctor seems very nice and caring, though, bless him for being so positive and helpful. I hope that the metformin and clomid do wonders for you in the upcoming months

awww hun, stay strong and feel positive that at least you know what is happening now rather than guess work, you sound like you have a real good dr whos gonna help you through things. Were you charting? did they say you were not ovulating?

How great to know the reason your little miracle hasn't happened yet. And even better to know the cure. Well, it's all go from here to get everything going in the right direction. It's no wonder you feel happy after such a shocking bit of news. I am delighted for you that it was something as simple (let's put it in perspective here) to fix.

Now that you know, you will be able to properly chart and will no doubt see a proper shift in temps with a true ovulation date. How exciting!!!

and to you for this new, refreshing cycle. I'll expect to see you on a mission now.

That's really positive news....get those pills at the ready and go for it Ney Ney....
The doc must have hope that the pills will make u ovulate as he would have never prescribed them otherwise!!!!!
