positive hpt but spotting and bleeding

hi everyone!
me and my hubby have been ttc for 4 months now. my cycle is not exactly normal, if fluctuates from 23 to 27 days. Last month it was 27 days and i'm supposed to be due for AF on the 15th of october. i think i ovulated around the 30th of september. On the 9th i spotted enough to stain my undies and it was like dark brown. after that woke up next morning and nothing else. yesterday, the 11th, did an ic from early-pregnancy-test.com and it was a faint positive. later in the day i bled again but this time it was enough to stain my undies and my pants. this morning i did another hpt, fact plus this time, and it was a clear positive. Please help, i dont know if i should be exited or worried!

I'll list the explained above to make it easier to see:

17th sept- last period
30th sept- i think i ovulated
9th oct- dark brown spotting
11th oct- ic faint postive hpt
- spotting later that day but more than the 9th
12th oct- positive fact plus hpt and no bleeding

Don't panic, lots of women have some bleeding in early pregnancy. Was it brown blood both times? Because that is old blood and could be nothing. I would try to get to a doctor for some advice, they can monitor your blood hcg levels over a few days and see if things are progressing as they should.

You could also ask in first trimester? xx

Hey sweetie...Posting in first tri might be better. As far as im aware spotting in early pregnancy is commen. As long as its not bright red and clotty. How far along are you?

my period is not even late yet, it's due in 2 days.

Spotting in early pregnancy is common... but it also can be a bad sign, obviously. So, there's really no clear answer yet that I know of! I'm sending you tons of sticky baby dust though!
