Any military wives out there? - Page 3

My DH is a active Duty U.S. Marine(SSgt), i'd have to agree with the deployments or other things it can be hard with ttc.

I'm another one who's not a military wife but I can understand the frustration. My DH is a touring musician who goes on 6 month tours. He has Sundays off and if he's near enough to home he'll drive back after the Saturday night show, often getting home at 3am and spend the day with me before dashing off again on the Monday morning.

We've found our timings incredibly difficult (and I've worked out I have no chance for the next 4 months

). DH has been home for the last 2.5 months but unfortunately while we've done all the right things

we've not had any success. One day we'll manage it!

grr to hubby's who can't be here when need them! I thought it was hard being on my own when we were just working and leading a 'normal' life...never thought it could be so much harder. fingers crossed for timings that work for us in the next few months!!

I'll join the crowd. But I'm throwing a new one on here! My dh is army infantry. He leaves in a couple weeks for a month long training (Ntc) and was out in the field for two weeks three weeks ago. In march 2010 he leaves for Iraq for a year. The pressure is on cause we both want me to be pregnant before he leaves. Webunked up with two other military families so us wives can be together while our hubbys are gone. One is 14 weeks
Pregnant and the other is 6 weeks pregnant. It's time I jump on this band wagon too!!!!

wookie16, what do you mean you bunked up with two other military families? are you all living together? is it on a patch? got me confused!!

ps, my friend reckon that being around pregnant ladies and newborns makes you more fertile...who knows but worth a shot!
