I'm WTT, not TTC but my OH is RAF.

If you girls are interested, we have a 'Military WAGs' group in the BnB Groups section

babydreams, where are you guys based? A good friend of mine is a RM in Taunton.

Hi my hubby is raf and is away in afghan at the moment. It is really hard, i was so desperate to get the bfp before he went but it wasn't meant to be. Have started charting since he's been away to try and have a better idea when he comes back. He's home in about a month now so really looking forward to that. Pretty sure he would have missed ov by that cycle so its december at least before we even have another shot. I think it's just like so many other military things...something very annoying but just have to get on with it.

Good luck to you all. Hopefully BFPs soon. X

wow! lots of RAF WAGs on here!

Like you say it is just one of those things we come to accept as part and parcel of military life. Doesn't help tho when the patch is practically bursting at the seams with little kids and pregnant ladies

I'm in the TA myself so can help balance it back again

HanD, good luck getting your BFP when he comes back. I know its disheartening that you didn't get it when he went, but this way he can share in the excitement when you do get it

Hope the next month speeds by for you! It's so hard when they're away anywhere - especially when you want to try!

At least he'll be home for Christmas...make the most of christmas leave

Hey Another RAF wife here! Seems we have nothing better too do eyy
Just wanted too tell u wat happend with us when i got pregnant : hope it doesnt sound like rambeling!
My OH was away alot doing training so we rarely saw eachother, we wernt married (we've only been married for 6 months) We were trying from when charlie our first son was 4 months old! well not really trying but not preventing! Anyway we tryed and tryed for 5 months untill we got married and moved too our married quarters and well what happend the week we moved! I got pregnant! Hey presto just like that, pretty lucky really, we found it hard too fall because of rarely beeing together seems its hard to make a baby when u only see each other on a weekend! Anyway hope it works for you quicker than it did me! x

we're both in the navy. i'm sure the stress from that is the reason why we haven't been able to conceive. i hope after getting out tht will change.
Ohmy,
My DH and I were both in the Marine Corps. I agree that the stress of only seeing each other for short periods of time definetly affected our ability to get pregnant. It wasnt until we both got out that we even had a MC. Still trying for number 1 but I know it will happen. Military life is definetly a life all its own. Best of luck to you all.
