I had a missed abortion which resulted in a d&c about 12 days ago..my counting could be a little off, it seems like it was yesterday really. I have finally stopped bleeding, after scare of needing another d&c because of serve bleeding and clotting. We are currently not on any b/c because clearly we want to try again right away. However, my concern is..if we have unprotected sex before my first period after the d&c, is there a chance we could get pregnant? And if so, would this dangerous for my health or that pregnancy?

My g/p is away and frankly I do not like the lady filling in for him, but if you think I should be asking her this...I will go, dragging and kicking the whole way..but Ill go!

I personally think the chances of me getting pregnant inbetween my d&c and first period after it are low..but things happen!

Alot of doctore reccomend waiting a cycle before ttc again but the only reason for this is its easier to get the dates right.
There isnt any risk with getting pg again right after and you can actually be more fertile as your body has been cleaned out.
