| Do ovulation pains happen on ovulation day? Sorry, it seems a silly question but the day you have ovulation pains is that when you are actually releasing an egg?
I had ovulation pains yesterday afternoon/evening CD14 and had a very small amount of EWCM ( I never get much) I had no opk's so not sure if I had my surge. Did BD last night just to be sure.
Today I have watery CM and my cervix is high and quite soft, I took an opk but it is very negative. Do you think I missed the surge by testing late or has is it still to come? My last few cycles I have ovulated between CD15 and CD19.
Thanks x | | | | Status: Online

| Mine do sometimes. It varies a little. I had them for 2 days this time. Keep testing I thought I missed mine and O'd early but it came a day later than last time. Your body can be sneaky. FX you catch your eggie! | | | | Status: Online

| Thanks for replying. Responses seem to be a bit thin on the ground today!
I just really want to know if my opk's are faint because they are fading out or faint because they are building up to a positive. It is my own fault for not testing earlier x | | | | Status: Online

| This last cycle I had 3 days of ov twinges and soreness - not bad, but on and off, then on 4th day I had major nausea and light-headedness. I thought from what many others have said that I wld have ov'd on that 4th day with the nausea.... but then I got AF 9 days later.... which means, if I have a standard LP of 14 days, that I ov'd before all the twinges and sore days and my pain was caused by the egg's travels through the fallopian tubes (which I have read can happen)..... so basically it is different for everyone! And THAT is the beauty of us women hahaha! That you can never bl@@dy know anything for sure!! | | | | Status: Offline

| Judging by your chart, I'd say you got them during O. I've learned this past week that if you O late in the day, it's your next temp that will show ovulation. I ovulated at ~4:30am (which I consider late at night, rather than early in the morning) and my temp dropped the next morning... it was around 6 hours after O when I took the actual temp. I always suspected that the temp drop was BEFORE the egg drop... like, drops the morning of O but before O actually happens. Not the case for me. So, I would say that you probably O'd around the time you felt the pains rather than the next day.
Good luck! I'm hoping this is your cycle! | | | | Status: Online
