Has anyone used or heard of Vitex?

I went to the general nutrishtion center yesterday and I was looking at getting the DHEA. HOWEVER, when I was reading the side effects (since it was in the mens health side!) I saw that it can cause facial hair growth in women. So I decided to see about an alternate route for now! ( I am not ready to start shaving my face right now)
So the lady told me about this Vitex. I have done some researcha nd it appears that it is very similar to DHEA (without the hairgrowth!) So I was just curious if anyone has tried it or had any success with it?
I just want to try everything I can before having to go to a fertility specialist.
So please help! Thank you all! All of you are GREAT in my book! Take care and sending all of you (and me too!) bunches of

I've been drinking agnus castus (vitex) tea for about 2 weeks now, hoping it will result in a shorter cycle. I'm on CD 51 so no results yet, lol. But it's not supposed to work right away so I´ll keep drinking it.

I hope someone will answer you because I wanna know this too.

Yeah I know what you mean Well, I'm mixing it with another type of fertility tea and then I put some regular green tea with lemon flavor with it. It doesn't taste great but I'm used to it by now

Well I hope you won't need it at all

Did you have to use it with your other two? Did you have any trouble conceiving them? By the way, you have 2 beautiful children! Good luck! Thank you!

No, I haven't used it before. I've been pregnant 3 times, first got PG straight after stopping the bcp, but I m/c'd at 6 weeks. With my older we tried for 3 months and the younger for 6 months. I hardly ever had my period while trying but BD'd a lot and that worked. So I'm lucky to know that I do ovulate, it's just irregular.

I'm using it now because I want to have more regular cycles so I can pinpoint the ovulation, it's pretty exhausting BD'ing every day
