Anyone else taking evening primrose oil?

I started using EPO this last cycle and it is supposed to help with pms and building more cm. So far my experience has been good as I did have more cm this cycle and less premenstrual symptoms like sore boobs/nipples and cramping. It has really surprised me this cycle as I spotted for 5 days without warning and it was very unlike AF usually is. It also started at CD 27 when my last cycle was 46 CDs. I am curious how much this can be attributed to EPO....and if anyone has had similar experiences with using it. Thanks gals

Just a quick reply in between packing the house up.

Here's a useful link about EPO that you should find helpful. It has to be taken at a particular time of the cycle, so watch out for that one. Other than that, it is a good supplement.

I'm off back to my packing.

Oh sorry, wish I could help. The only thing I know is that you're not supposed to take it after O.

But I did use it in the last few weeks of pregnancy with excellent results!

I'm taking EPO! I only take it from the first day of AF till I O though as it can cause uterine cramps.

There are only two changes I've noticed, one is a severely increased amount of EWCM (which although I thought was a good thing, it actually isn't cause I'm getting EWCM from the last day of AF right through to when I O. )

The other thing is spotting. I've started spotting more as AF ends and just before the next AF starts.

It hasn't helped at all with PMS, but I only started taking it to increase my CM and now I have too much of it!!!

jayne, thanks for sharing, that is really interesting since my AF was really weird this cycle....I spotted for like 5-6 days and I normally just have AF for 3 days. Cm hasn't increased that much, my goodness...but that still is a good thing for ttc!! even though it can be annoying. Yeah I stopped right around when I thought I was Oing...and it has helped my pms a lot!! <~~~ Well this past trail run anyway.

Thanks everyone for sharing!
