Hi Ladies! Okay, so right now I'm on CD8, on my next cycle we're trying!


My Plan: After AF next cycle, we're going to do it like rabbits every day until my next cycle starts.

My Question(s): Will this pose a problem? If my egg gets fertilized and we have sex after that, will it ruin it? Will that make a better probability of twins? Is it okay to use mineral oil as lubricant, or will that hinder our chances? I read on a website that it wouldn't stop spermies from swimming but I know sometimes websites can be BS.

Good luck! However I have heard that doing it every 2nd or 3rd day is a better idea so the spermies have a chance to replenish.

You can BD everyday if you like. They say that his sperm count can decrease a bit but not that much. As fat as twins, that isn't determind by how many times you BD but how many eggs or if the egg splits into two. (I think it does that with identical twins)
I don't know about the mineral oil but some other ladies on here may have some more info.

Thanks! Okay, that puts my mind at ease about the twins, I dont think I could handle that hehe. I read somewhere that sperm replenishes itself every 24 hours? Not the case? I'm really hoping we concieve first try! My mom never had problems getting PG, and my sister got PG on first try TWICE! I looked into it and there are no miscarriages in my family history so if genetics have anything to do with how fertile you are, the odds are in my favor. However, if I dont then I'll just have to curse AF and try again I want this SO BAD!

I think it is mostly for men who have a lower sperm count that's recommended to do it every other day to let them build back up again, me and my hubby did it every other day though this month, only because his 'equipment' got really sensitive last month. I haven't heard anything about mineral oil really so I can't answer that one lol...anyway, good luck next month and have fun!

I've heard of people succeeding by Bd'ing every day..TBH I couldn't do it, I'd just reach a point where I'd get fed up! lol probably before O even hits!!

I suppose your sex drive will determine things. My sister BD'd every day for a month an got her BFP after 1 month but she said it was a chore by the time they'd been at it a fortnight! We did it every other day and a little more around O before our BFP. We struggled towards O time and I'd say we have an average sex drive between us. So if your sex drive will allow it I dont think every day is a problem but every other works too.
Dunno about the mineral oil.

good luck ttc, i know i couldn't sustain every day but i work about 10hours every day and am just knackered sometimes, we try for every other but that goes by the by sometimes. Im determined this month though!!

Gees, i couldnt every day... but remember those little can live more than 48 hours!!
