I'm Currently Feeling:

Thermometers

Can we have a quick pole on thermometers?

I have a Babymad (pink and white) digital thermometer, but I am sure it's not very accurate. It didn't cost very much and I think sometimes you get what you pay for. I've played around with it during the day and taken my temp orally three times in a row to see how accurate the readings are and it varies quite dramatically. For example, this morning it was 36.46, then less than 1 minute later 36.30, then less than 1 minute after that 36.55 degrees Celcius.

Anyone else tried this or have any views or recommendations?
