My AF is due on the 13th. I am only 8 days days past ovulation....is it way too early to test? When can I test if I cant now????? I want to test but I dont want to waste my money....

Do I HAVE to wait until the 13th?

It is way to early to test. I got my BFP the day before AF was due. I had tried 3 days earlier and it was negative.

There is nothing saying you CAN'T test....but the truth is that the chances of gettinga BFP are so minute right now. Every passing day brings the chances higher. I know how you feel...sometimes testing makes you feel better, even if you KNOW it's going to be negative. I've tested at 7 dpo for that same reason. If you can afford to waste a test, then test tonight and get your negative (probably....although I hope you get a positive) and then move on with your week. If you get a negative, I'd wait another 2 days before testing again.

my Af due on monday the 11 th but i will try the testing starting Saturday

It might be too early, I would say wait at least until 10 DPO to test to have a bigger chance of a bfp showing up.....but part of me agrees that if you have a test to spare to just do it to get it out of your system lol (I know I have in the past!) Good luck to you hun!!

I tested at the the begining of the week and BFNs monday and tuesday on cheapies. Got a BFP on weds on a CB digital with FMU and then another at lunch time on the second digital and another BFP on a supermarket own brand one BUT I only just got BFP's on my cheapies this morning and I'm about 13DPO.
It expensive and also slightly demoralising. My cheapies were supposed to help me with my POAS fix...

You CAN test but the chances of you getting a false negative (if you are pregnant are pretty high). As hard as it is it is really best to wait until AF is late to test (I didn't get my BFP until five days after I expected AF to arrive!)

The month I knew I was pregnant I tested at 5DPO and of course got a BFN, but I did get two faint BFPs on 11DPO with the cheapy 10miu ones 2 days before AF was due and a clearblue digital BFP the next day!

If you can afford it or have cheapy ones, I'd try one at 10dpo and then wait until maybe the day before AF to try again. You don't want to be disappointed every day!

I am the same I am not due to test til at least valentines day but I want to test.
I got a positive 4 days before af last time I was pg.

Last time I tested at 9dpo and got a BFN, woke up and tested at 10dpo with FMU and got a positive.

Everyone is different.. you might get a BFP at 8dpo, but if it comes BFN u will feel down and then who knows u will eventually get ur BFP afew days later.
Avoiding testing now is just to help u not feel down seeing a BFN.

I think the best thing is to wait until 10dpo and start testing.
