Hi Mash:

I understand holding off seeing a doctor, whether because of financial or emotional issues. However, since you long to be a mommy soon, I think the first thing that you need to get over is the fear of having yourself checked out. When you fall pregnant (and I hope SOON!), you will have to go for doc's appointment anyway. Realize that you are doing it to be a responsible future parent and for your baby's sake. I am sure you will do just fine. Good luck.

Btw, I will be taking Clomid (per my doc's advice) today (day#3). I have been ttc for over a year and this is my first clomid cycle.

Millana - Ooh! Good luck! I hope this does the trick for you! FX'd! You should check out the Clomid Club thread over in LTTTC & AC! It's a great resource!

Mash - I hope we're all wrong too! The only way to find out is to check with your doc though. I know how scary it can be. I hated the idea of getting checked out. I just knew they were going to tell me that:

A. I was completely unable to have children.
B. I was dying.
C. Both A & B!

But, it was none of the above and made me feel a lot better! So, it can all be worth it!

Something different has come up .....

on friday i noticed a small painless swelling in my neck ... i went to get it checked and it came out to be a thyroid problem... i had my blood test, biopsy and ultrasound done... biopsy told that it was filled with fluid and it can be cured through medicines and i may not need any surgery - however the nature of the fluid has to be still tested... i was prescribed thyroxine ..... 50 mg daily ... and am suppose to get checked every three months....

i read some stuff abt thyroxine on net which says that one of the symptoms it has is infertility ... ? anybody who has the same problem here?

any guidance? will i ever be pregnant ? or there is no chance now?
