Confused about discharge

Hi, I hope someone can tell me whats going on...

My husband and I are TTC for the past 4 months. The 1st month I was sure I was pregnant, as I got a pinkish discharge on about Day 23 of my cycle and I had read in various places that this was implantation bleeding. Then I got a light period, which only lasted 3 days. I did take 2 PTs after, which were negative. It is important to say that I am ALWAYS regular (28 days) and they last 5 days all the time.

Now again this month, we have been doing all the right things, and it is now Day 24, and I have light cramps and the pinkish discharge again, which probably means I will get the light period again... (this didnt happen for the past two months, or ever before for that matter). All the sites say that this is the exact time you get implantation bleeding (about 10 days after conception).

Has this ever happened to anyone before? I find it strange, as I am so regular, for this to happen just when we start to TTC. Please help! (I have even started to think I got pregnant that time, and something went wrong).

Sometimes things go a bit crazy when you start ttc... our crazy brains can control a lot more than we give them credit for.

Try not to worry hun... everything will sort itself out, and BFP will come when its supposed too! Good luck!

OK, I will take your advice and relax - thanks... its just so hard when strange things start to happen, cos you immediately think it has to be BFP if you have never experienced it before.

You both seriously think this is normal? OK OK, I will stop stressing...

I think it's pretty normal too, it's amazing what our minds can convince our bodies of when TTC. Good luck I hope you get your BFP soon.

OK thanks girls... I know you are probably right. If anyone has had the same as me, I would really love to hear from them, just to set my mind at ease that I didnt have a very early miscarriage or something.

I can say i felt the same way a couple of times. I remember having long AF that would last for 5 days and be a bit heavy...but after starting TTC they've shrunk! lol i get only 2 days of flow (which is more medium than heavy) and 2 days of light spotting before it's over! I really don't know what could have changed the AF pattern other than me thinking all month "this could be it! could it be it?" stressing over it and/or the extra unprotected BDing . I'm not minding it too much though lol how could i not love a 2-3 day AF rather than 5-7?

Also about the light spotting you have gotten...perhaps you have always spotted a little bit before AF and just never noticed because you weren't TTC and looking up all the possible symptoms! I got light spotting my first month and thought "maybe implantation?!" but then had to rethink and realized this isn't any different than my light spotting i got before i started TTC. Also, if you're a bit rough in bed you can geta tear or rip and that can cause you to spot a bit in the next day or two, so it could have maybe been this?
