i have a persona kit. You take a test each month on day 6 and then on 7 consecutive days which can vary from month to month. During the testing time it will give an O symbol for ovulation for 2 days, so ovulation occurs within a day or 2. Last month my kit gave the O symbol on day 14 & 15, which was early compared to other months. This month i have niggly pain on my left side which i reckon are ovulation pain, i took my last test today CD 17 and got no O symbol...as my O days are changing from last month to this month i ran out of tests/testing window was over before it detected ovulation so from this point of view its not great. The manual with the kit does say that you may not always get an O symbol...

I too have read that these are good - however, the price is a bit frightening...? But if you are desparate and unsuccessful after a long time I guess money is no object to getting that wee baby!!
