I imagine your doctor is looking at the fact that you already have 2 kids and perceiving from that there is nothing wrong with your fertility which is perfectly feasible, but that doesn't help to put your mind at rest nor does it explain the irregularities in your cycle lengths. I would be inclined to go back and either ask to be referred for blood test or referred to a Gyno. Unfortunately these doctors need a little push sometimes. Do you have a practice nurse. Coz when I got referred for blood test I just did it through her and bypassed the doctor. Good luck hun.

Have you come off the pill recently. It can take 12 months to get back to normal. I came off the pill in January and still my cycles are irregular, but I can't do anything until 12 months off pill.

have you tried ac to help regulate hun?
If it was me i would go armed and dangerous and throw all the info at him, i think i would wait a few months to take all the info to him and then demand appts if not sorted.
ac might be worth a try though xx

I think for docs a year is the magic number. But you only need to chart for a couple of months to see things - and last month it looked like you didn't O. I'd take the chart and make an appt to go back and see him.

You can suggest Metformin to your doc. I suggested it and he said yes. I needed to get my cycles sorted after an op and needed a cycle to work with. From what I understood it was harmless. A week after taking it, AF came. I then never had another AF as I got PG.
Its a drug normally given to diabetics but a side effect is that it makes you have a proper cycle and O.
