Cycles - Please help :)

I stopped taking BC around Aug. 3 (I finished the pack) ...started my period on Aug. 5. My first cycle only lasted 25 days, as I started my next period on August 30. So, my question is...should I expect this cycle to be 25 days as well or no? I was only taking BC for 3 months when I quit. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

It should be 25 days if not right around there, at least that's how it is for me when I get off BCP...

Since coming off BCP (I was on it for about 11 years though), my first cycle was 23 days but I didn't ovulate. My 2nd cycle was 27 days, then my 3rd was 24. I'm day 23 of my 4th cycle now and don't expect it to be any shorter than 27 days. Mine have stayed somewhat consistent since coming off BC. Hopefully yours are the same!! Nice short cycles are great (more chances to try) as long as you have a decent LP!!

how do you know if you for sure ovulate after BC?

either use OPK's or BBT

Mine was BBT. Didn't get a thermal shift that month. Since then my thermal shifts have been clear.

i'm so lost on the whole charting stuff! im on CD26 now, so i guess we'll see?
