| Trying to conceive (TTC) Active BnB Member  Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: Nottingham, UK Posts: 16 | What the chances? Hello everyone!  I am new on this part of the site... I had my 6th MC on 28/01..., but now I want to start TTC again... I am not sure if I should wait or start stright away.... Just wanted to ask if anyone knows what are the chances of getting PG before the first period? Doc said that I should count the day of MC as the first day of the cycle, does that mean that I will ovulate before my 1st AF?  I do not want to lift my hopes up too much, so just need to know what the actual chances are... If anyone can help, that would be really appreciated... Thanks Katrina |

| Mum (Mom) Active BnB Member  Join Date: Nov 2007 Location: Idaho, USA Posts: 267 | Actually you can start right away, but here's why they say to wait: After a m/c your period may be thrown off, so if you get pregnant immediately afterwards without knowing if your period will be normal, it's harder to get an accurate due date. PLUS- if you want until your period then you know that your body is done expelling tissue and blood from the m/c. So honestly it's totally up to you! You're one tough woman! I'm glad you haven't given up!!!  |
