Question

Ovulation test results....

Sorry guys for asking so many questions! I'm trying to figure out these ovulation tests! lol I just took my fourth ovulation test. The first day there was a VERY VERY faint line and over the past four days they have been getting darker and darker. Here is the picture from the 4th one from tonight... I know it's negative but do you guys think I'm getting close??

Brittsbs,

I appears that it could be getting close. just a little advise, try and use them kinda like with a hpt and use a first morning urine. That is when your urine is the strongest and the LH is a bit more concentrated. If you do it in the morning, every morning, it will be a bit more accurate and you will be comparing apples to apples. You know? Good luck!

Really? I have done it a couple of times and after reading the directions on the First Response directions, it said to wait at least 2 hours before testing and try not to drink a lot of fluids so it doesn't dilute the urine. The also recommended doing in the morning. That is what I have done and I have always got a positive result and it goes along with my FF chart as well. Check out my chart. I could be wrong, but it has worked for me. (To get a positive result that is!) Now if I can only get that ! Anyway let me know how it goes! Good luck! Sending you lots of

if FR directions are telling you to use fmu, then follow the directions. The opks I used directed me NOT to use fmu, and poas around mid dayish...you will always get a faint line since you have that hormone in your system...Keep watching it, like you mentioned it is getting darker, so that it a good thing! BD when it is close to or daker then the control line.

I personally don't like opks much at all. I love my clear blue fertility monitor though...(even though it didn't show a peak for me this first time around).

yea I don't like them much either. After all of these are gone I will not be buying anymore. Has anyone used that slide thingy. I saw it on ebay a couple of days ago. You put your saliva on a slide I think and depending on how the salt crystals or something look it tells you when your peak is.... If that made any sense at all! haha

I tried the salivascope, it didnt really work out for me but i was using it when i had irregular cycles.

With the opks, i used then with afternoon urine as directed and i never got a positive. I tried them last cycle along with my monitor and used fmu and i got a positive!

It's not a positive one.
Keep testing until the light line becomes darker than the control line or same color.

Good luck!
