Ok...I've seriously considered whether or not to even ask this, but I then figured "What the heck...everyone asks totally crazy personal questions...so here is goes..."
TMI warning...
Last night, a while after BD, I still had my butt on a pillow and my legs up, and I thought "Hmm...let's check my cervix. I kept the same position and tried to feel it. It was in there alright (LOL), but it felt like it was covered by something....as in, no sperm seemed to be able to get in. The farther in the air I put my legs, the most this other body part seemed to cover my cervix. Then I put my legs down and felt...and same thing...some internal bulge or something seems to be positioned in front of my cervix. Not permanently, of course. When I check my cervix while sitting down (on the toilet, for instance), I just reach up and there it is...nothing obstructing it. But lying down...there seems to be something that covers the opening.

Ok...this is a huge favor to ask....could someone else check their cervix in this position and tell me if they feel the same thing?? Again, I was on my back with a pillow under my hips and knees were up toward my chest.

It's really difficult to judge what possition your cervix is in or what could be covering it yourself because things often feel different to how they actually are. It's normal though to have what feels like a lump or a bit of skin that sort of covers it at some angles. Especially if your cervix is very high. Nothing to worry about and the will still get through. Just think the opening of your cervix is really tiny and they make it through that alright!!
