Has this happened to anyone?

I was hanging out with a girlfriend and her two daughters (ages 3 and 1 1/2) all day yesterday, and both girls were being as sweet as can be, and asking me to hold them and play with them.

We were watching a movie and the 3 year old was sitting on my lap and all of a sudden I just got this overwhelming yearning and excitement to be a mother (hopefully soon!). It was weird..like I almost ached to have a baby! Am I weird, or is that just a normal feeling you get when you are trying to conceive?

Perfectly normal. At least I hope so cuz that's how I feel everytime I even see a baby, let alone hold one. To the point that I've just made plans to go visit my bro and sil in a couple weeks just to hang with my 11 month old nephew (my bro and I don't really get along too well but I need a baby fix lol).

Definitely normal. Just a way of knowing you're ready to be a mommy!! I was like that this week watching my bosses' great niece. She's absolutely a doll ! It was sweet when she told her mom she could leave and she'd like to stay here with me. She's only 2. Not to mention I could just eat my little 6 mos old niece up!

Completely normal. I get it alllllll the time around little kids. Seeing a baby just makes a little ache happen in my belly.

I vote normal too!
If you'd asked me 4 years ago about my opinion of kids, it would have been 180 degrees different.
As of about 6 months ago, I started to get the itch and now I find myself reaching out to hold little hands. LOL, your biological clock has started ticking...

OMG - everytime I spend time with godson, I feel the need to reproduce immediately. I have even had aching in my breasts - which I found really disconcerting. I think we are all perfectly normal. You can only appreciate this when trying hard to conceive - my friend conceived without knowledge, and doesn't quite understand my desperation.
