I'm Currently Feeling: | No an OBGYN is a doctor that you go to only when pregnant. They do the same types of things midwives do, check that the baby is ok, schedule scans, check the heartbeat, check your weight etc. and most (if not all) deliver the baby as well. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Yeah I don't think you can do both an OB and a midwife. Look around, talk to different doctors (you may even be able to schedule consultations with one of each) and than decide what is best for you. |

| An OBGYN isn't only for when you're pregnant, but also for anything female related, like pap smears. |
