Why Is My Temp So Low AF got me! - Official Thermometer Hate Thread, Join Us!

On the news front, I actually thought that the witch got me today. Still no real guarantee that she didn't actually. Here's the deal... It came on like AF, all at once but not in a horrific way. Its what I'm used to. So, I put on a pad and figure I just screwed my temps up so bad that I missed O. I then go to my bestie's wedding rehearsal, which was unfortunately filled with pregnant women. That sucked. It got to light but normalish flow, looked just like AF. Odd thing though... I've been nauseous, dizzy, hot flashy, gassy, constipated off and on, crampy in all the wrong places for AF,heartburny, and crying over literally nothing for 2 days. This is NOT how my AF goes. Its weird. I don't know what to think now. Also, it ended up going to a slightly tinged cm... Stretchy-ish but more sticky I guess, and next to nothing now.

I noticed that my LH line got a little darker on my CBFM sticks yesterday and again today. I know that isn't uncommon right before AF though.

My boobs still hurt a lot, but that's been going on a while now. I thinks its just hormone junk... Non-specific hormone junk, at that.

The cramps... They feel like someone has put a grapling hook into either side of my uterus and arw randomly pulling on them. Its like shooting pains but they feel like tugging or pulling at the same time. Other times, its the same sort of sudden shooting pain, but definitely on one ovary or the other. Its gets worse if I strain to do something too, which is very unlike AF.

Even now while I'm typing this, I'm hungry and gassy, but nauseous with heartburn and sort of dizzy or lightheaded.

Can any of you give me some insight as to what's going on? If it weren't for the bleeding and seemingly lacking ovulation, I would be so excited about my symptoms. Lol

I looked over my temps to see if something stuck out as "oh, if that one was wrong, my whole chart would change"... But nada. Maybe I'm just not cut out for temping?

I don't know, but I am soooo frustrated. I'll check back in the morning to see if anyone had words of wisdom on the subject. Thanks in advance, girls. I appreciate it all!

Hmm - I wonder if you are getting mid-cycle pains - ie ovulation. The light bleed can happen and you can get really bad cramps etc

Your temp has dipped a couple of times these past few days indicating possible ovulation. Get a hot water bottle for your cramps and keep temping - and obviosuly keep BDing!

Thanks, Hope! I definitely get Mittleschmerz, but it wasn't really what I'm used to it feeling like... that's why I was confused. I'm not confused anymore though. The got me today... err.. yesterday... err.. 9/20. There will be no thermal shift! I'm ok with it though... I think I actually DID ovulate back on CD12, when I thought I had. I just put too much faith in my POS thermometer and resulting chart. Onward and upward to next month!

Will you continue to temp and chart next month?

I don't like my chart today but I think over a period of time it might help to understand my cycles better.

Yeah, I'm going to give it another go with the new thermometer. I hope it makes a difference. If it's shit again... I might can it and stop temping! LOL

Meg, sorry for being really dense, but it only seems like a week ago I was posting about your consistent bleeding and how you needed a good bleed, blah, blah, and now I realise you and I are in exactly the same boat - AF-wise, shit woman don't you feel anaemic? PS sorry she got you.

LOL I do get anemic when it's a lot and constantly. I was anemic for a couple of years. But, my prenatal has a decent bit of iron in it, and I have other iron sups if I start to feel it coming back. This time hasn't been anything like the last though... not nearly as severe or unpleasant. Luckily, the hemorrhaging was actually almost 3 weeks ago... so it's not as bad as it seems. I feel like it was only last week too though. This month has WOOSHED right by.
