I can't help it! I want it to be perfect! LMFAO It went up today... so I'm happy. I'm trying to stop stressing.. I'll feel better once I see 3 highs and crosshairs! I feel terrible about the day we missed on CD20, I believe. But, I'm sure one night of BDless sleep won't make or break my month... I hope!

Just wanted to say, I totally sympathise! I've been stressing about low temps and taking mine throughout the day to see if it'll ever go up!!! I thought I'd O'd on Mon/Tues, with higher temp yesterday, but then it was lower today than most pre-O temps I get! (I'm always low compared to other people, but have been getting an ok pattern over the last month or two). I'm so stressing and really hoping i get a rise tomorrow morning like you did today! Mine's possibly affected by a change to my work pattern (earlier mornings) and I'm waking up slowly and tossing & turning, which possibly alters my temps.

Hope you get the increasing temps and crosshairs!

Crypto, if nothing happens for me this month i'm asking my gp to do the CD21 test for me next month. I don't know much about it though - i've heard it's about progesterone levels, checking if they're sufficient - does it also tell you that you've O'd? Think I need this test!!!

Hey, beaney! Are you taking into account the different times you're testing? Your temp will change based on when you test. I was PMing back and forth with someone who didn't understand why their OPKs only went positive AFTER ovulation, and then we finally got down to brass tacks and fleshed out that she had taken her temp several hours later than usual for 2 days. Unfortunately, it was the 2 days that would have been low at her normal time, but were much higher 3 or so hours later. Thus, when adjusting the temps to her normal temping time, it moved her ovulation back by 2 days, which jived with her OPK readings. You can count on your temp going up by ~.2 degrees every hour. So, 97.5 at 7am would be 97.7 at 9am. Maybe that will help... or maybe you already knew that! Either way, good luck!

I know it sounds funny, but larger women often run a little cold, because our metobolism is slower - my temps keeping rising slightly with each month that passes, and the more weight I lose - trying to gauge temps in the LP is pretty weird, let's hope you don't have to worry about temping for a few more months

I appreciate the optimism, Hope... but my crosshairs won't be until Saturday! One more high doesn't get them... I just tried it! LOL

Interesting, Kate. I never thought of that. I hope neither of us have to worry about anything TTC-related for a lot more months... all of us really!

My only concern is that I have the post-O spotting again. It's not bad at all... just on the tissue when I wipe, and only sometimes. But, I feel like it's going to just devolve into the same mess as last month. And, if it happens to be low progesterone, I don't know exactly what my temp will do.

I have progesterone cream already... but everything says only to start it 2-3dpo and only if you're sure you need it. Well, I don't know that I need it, but I don't want to lose another month to spotting and bleeding right up until AF. I guess if it stays up for my crosshairs, and the spotting is still there or getting worse by 3-4dpo, I'll start using the smallest dosage guideline that I found. If it stops the spotting, I'll call it a success. LOL

I'm just worried that I'll have last month all over again though. I don't have the energy for that.
